Can't tell you that, but I can tell you that growing up as a kid he gave out some kickin treats at Halloween as well as his branded merchandise. Tshirts, frisbees, noisemaking thingies and good candy too. I grew up in a town called Villa Park, CA. in Orange County and he used to live at the corner of Lemon and Mesa Streets in VP. his entire property was sold at some

point and made into houses, but the main gate where the goodies were given out was on that corner. Now there is a street called martinique that has several houses on it that are maybe 7-10 years old, but if you look south of that street you can see the fenceline that was the boundary of his house all the way east to mesa st.

Light My Fire-1968 is his biggest hit charting at #3 and selling over 1 million. Nothing else comes close, though Feliz Navidad continues to sell copies and Jose still records new material.
