Josep Guardiola targets more trophies
The Catalan coach Josep Guardiola has seen a lot of success in the past three seasons. After taking over Barcelona from Frank Rijkard, the Spaniard had an outstanding squad available to him and he took advantage of that in order to win trophies. His first
season at the Catalan club was simply phenomenal as he managed to win six trophies in a single season.
Josep Guardiola won his 12th trophy for the Spanish side when he managed to beat the Portuguese side Porto in the European Super Cup. After winning the UEFA Champions League last season, Barcelona qualified for the final of the European Super
Cup and they had to face the Europa League winners Porto.

net.

They managed to win the UEFA Champions League final and the only team
which was close to beating them (Real Madrid) were also defeated in the Spanish Super Cup as Barcelona drew the game 2-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu and won 3-2 at the Nou Camp.
After the game Josep Guardiola said:
"There are still many ways we can get better and improve.”
The Catalan boss kept on praising his players as he believes that they are the best players in the world at the moment. He said:
"I never tire of praising them... they are still as competitive as ever after the Spanish Super Cup and despite it being this early time of the season and the state of the pitch. They are always there for each other.
He also spoke about the talented young players in his team. He said:
"We have a lot of young players and they still have this eagerness to win. That impresses me.”
There is no doubt that this Barcelona team is the best in the world and there are less people who are betting against them winning the Champions League for two times in a row.
Josep Guardiola has all the players needed in a team and he has the depth which is required to win more trophies. The Spanish coach was happy with his team and stated that they are not only professional who are there to perform for the team; in fact, they
are also friends and such a team is rarely seen in the history of the game.
