The Argentine star is currently on a goal-scoring drought and the Catalan coach, Josep Guardiola, is okay with his star striker’s current form.
Barcelona recently faced Real Madrid and succumbed to a 1-2 loss against their fierce rivals as Jose Mourinho helped his men take a 7-point advantage over the Catalan giants in the Spanish La Liga.
La Blaugrana were on an 11-match undefeated run in the league and then they went on to face Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.

Heading into the second leg against Chelsea at the Nou Camp, Josep Guardiola has stated that he is not concerned with Lionel Messi’s current goal-scoring form.
The diminutive Argentine striker has scored 63 goals in all competitions this season but has is currently on a two-match goal-scoring drought as he failed to score against Chelsea in the first leg and couldn’t find the back of the net against Real Madrid
on Saturday.
However, Guardiola is confident about his star player before Barcelona face Chelsea on Tuesday and believes that he does not have a reason to worry.
“I never allow myself to be concerned about Messi. Not even if he doesn’t score for 27 matches,” Guardiola said.
“I give him tranquillity and the right to not have to score goals until he wants to. He’s scored a brutal amount of goals this season.
“Let him play, be happy and be who he’s always been. His ambition helps us all.”

“Leo had a gastric issue, the doctor saw him and he called us before the training session to say he wouldn’t be coming in, but now he’s okay,” Guardiola said.
Barcelona will be facing Chelsea on Tuesday, and in order to qualify for the final of the Champions League, they have to beat Chelsea by a two-goal margin.
