  1. His step-daughter's name was Judith LaMonte. She was born in 1927.

You don't have your email turned on or I'd send you copies. But I also found this from a family website. It's a letter written to Judith's daughter, Kathleen. You might find it interesting:

    Name: Judith LaMonte

    s*x: F

    Birth: 9 APR 1927

Death: 27 DEC 1981 in New York

    Note:

From: Robert & Helen Lamont, Date: Fri, 21 Jan 2005 ( to Judith's daughter, Kathleen. Robert Ellis LaMont is Judith's first cousin).

I knew your mother very well as we were more or less brought up together at 74 Wilson Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, together after our respective parents split up. I got the genealogy from my father's aunts, Susan and Helen LaMonte, of Owego, Tioga County, New York. I do not now have those papers. Either my daughter Susan or my son Donald probably do (I hope!). Marcus' father was Matthew, whose father was, if I remember rightly, William, who was a Corporal in the N.Y. militia during the Revolution, and fought at Saratoga among other battles. His father was Robert I think, who came from County Antrim. I'm sorry, this is off the top of my head as I do not have the papers at hand. Matthew's uncle, another Revolutionary veteran, is buried in North Hillsdale, N.Y.

The LaMonte/Lamont and Hoagland cemeteries in Owego were the source of some of my records. My father had data from the Ludwig cemetery in or near White Deer Valley, Williamsport, Penna.

Father: Charles Shannon LaMonte b: 1 APR 1897 in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio

    Mother: Lenore Kipp

    Marriage 1 James Pande Young b: 4 MAY 1920

Married: JAN 1948 in Carmel, Monterey Co., California

  2. Do you mean Joseph Cotten?

He had a stepdaughter from his first marriage.

This information would probably be on IMDB.
