Roebuck Joseph of Loughborough University captured gold medal of the Men’s 200m butterfly on opening one of the 2013 British International in Leeds, UK, on Friday, March 8.
Roebuck stayed in a prominent lead over his following swimmer and cruised his way towards the finishing end for the title, With his astonishing pace, he remained in a comfortable lead over his strongest competitor and touched the wall for the title.
He remained almost two body lengths ahead of his following swimmer and cruised his way towards the finishing end for gold medal with an effort of 1 minute and 57.54 seconds.
The gold medallist was followed by Mallett Adam of Swansea University, who stayed 1.76 seconds slower from his foregoing finisher and hit the wall with the timing of 1 minute and 59.30 seconds.

Seventh position of the race was obtained by Cameron Brodie of Kelly Coll, who was more than half a body length ahead and tapped the wall with an effort of 2 minutes and 01.75 seconds.
Eighth position of the race was obtained by Iain Macmillan of Nova Cent’n, who was 1.18 seconds apart and posted a time of 2 minutes and 02.93 seconds.
In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts at the victory ceremony of the event.
