  2. Joseph is the 11th son of Jacob's [ 12 tribes of Israel ], Jacob was born to Isaac when Isaac was 60 years old, Isaac had been born to Abraham when Abraham was 100 years old, Jacob was age 15 when

    Abraham died [ age 175, Ishmael was age 89, Isaac was age 75, Gen. 25: 7,9 ];

    Jacob was age 130, Gen.47:9,11; when Joseph his 11th son who had been governor of Egypt 10 years at age 40, had all 70 family members in Egypt at 215 years after the covenant to Abraham, Joseph buried his father Jacob 17 years later when Joseph was age 57 and had 53 years left to live, but he knew God's promise to Abraham's heirs would come to pass and he made them promise to carry his bones with them as they were the covenant heirs, Gen.50:22-26; He died 712 years after the flood, Joshua crossed Jordan 898 years after the flood to bury the bone of Joseph, Josh 24:32; So Joseph believed in the same God that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and all the tribes believed in.

    So did Joseph the husband of Mary, Joseph was of the lineage of Jehoiachin, taken captive in Babylon, Eze.1:2; and still captive when Judah kings ended, year 3460, 1804 years after flood, and 606 BC. Mary was of the lineage of Nathan [ king David's other son ], Mary was the mother of Christ Jesus. Matt.1:1-17;
