Josh Hamilton brilliance helps Texas Rangers hammer Baltimore Orioles 10-3 – MLB Update

Texas Rangers hammered Baltimore Orioles 10-3 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland on Tuesday, May 8 in the second game of their three match series of the 2012 Major League Baseball regular season.
For the Rangers, Josh Hamilton looked extremely comfortable on the plate right from the start of the contest. In a display of complete domination, he homered four times to help the Rangers stun the Orioles. Demoralising their rivals, the Rangers continued
to attack right till the end to take an impassable 10-1 lead in the eighth, which proved sufficient for them to secure an easy win.
"Obviously it's, other than being in the World Series, the highlight of my big-league career," Hamilton said. "I was saying after I hit two I've never hit three in a game before, and what a blessing that was. Then to hit four is just an awesome feeling,
to see how excited my teammates got.”
"Amazing," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "Josh came out tonight, and he wasn't going to be denied."

"He's the best athlete in baseball," teammate Nelson Cruz said of Hamilton. "If anybody can do it, he can do it."
"History was witnessed tonight," Washington said.
Rangers surprised their rivals with their offensive force as they put up ten runs on the board. Orioles’ pitchers paid the heavy price for their unforced errors in a game that was dominated by the Rangers’ batters. Baltimore’s fans will be extremely disappointed
with what they have seen from their team in the opening two games of the series.
With Baltimore having an impressive 19-9 win-loss record going into the series, many of us thought that there will be some nail biting encounters between the two sides. However, so far the Rangers had the better of their opponents almost each time and it
will be interesting to see if the Orioles can fight back in the last two games to upset the Rangers.
Buck Showalter and company also had the home advantage working in their favour and the fans demanded a much better fight. They will now have to come up with a winning plan to level the series.
