Josh Macciello brings-out reasons why he should be the next Los Angeles Dodgers owner
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ potential sale has entered into a critical stage where one lucky new owner will be revealed in the media at the end of next month. Facing bankruptcy, the Dodgers’ management and Major League Baseball authorities are expecting achievable sale of the franchise before the next season starts in two month’s time.
Though some famous wealthy business personalities including Josh Macciello are involved in Dodgers’ sale process with only a few potential candidates left for club ownership. However, lately, Macciello has given an interview in the media stating his great interest purchasing the Southern California franchise to expand his business empire. He told the media with confidence that he can give many reasons as anybody can ask why he deserves this franchise.
He said, “I want everyone to know that I want the whole enchilada. Why would I over-bid? We need closure to start the healing. No fan wants to hand over $20 to park and think they're giving him any more of their money. So I want to give him an offer he can't refuse.”
He added, “You think I pay that much just for media attention? Everyone's putting deadlines, but that's all make-believe by the media. I have plenty proof of funding here. And all I'm fighting for is a fair chance. Once we get past this hurdle, I will win this team.”
The Dallas Mavericks current owner Mark Cuban has already been eliminated from the bidding process leaving some smooth sailing for business tycoon Macciello to put up a strong financial case in-front of the Dodgers' management.
The MLB earlier has finalised $2 billion base-price for the bidding process while Macciello is willing to pay $2.2 billion to be the potential owner of the club. Some baseball experts suggest to all those potential bidders and owners should be looking keenly towards every development that has been made for the Dodgers’ sale. In the end, the most suitable candidate with the best offer will be determined as the new owner of the illustrious franchise.
