Manchester United’s reserve team coach, Warren Joyce is of the opinion that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson to call him back to the first team.
The midfielder had gone on to call it quits on his playing career at the end of the 2010-2011 season. However, with United having quite a few problems in their team last season, Ferguson went on to ask Scholes to come out of retirement and play for the team
once again.
Scholes returned in the January of 2012 and is now set to play out another season for the team, given the fact that the club could still use him and because his levels of fitness are still quite exceptional.
Joyce, when talking about the midfielder and the reason why it was possible for him to make his comeback to the team is quoted to have said: "It was good for [the reserves] to train with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Scholes before Christmas, to get him involved with training and
see how to act properly.”
"He didn’t want to not be top man. His pride wanted him to be the best player and he raised the bar in training.”
"I think it was good for him as well. Maybe, he just trained like he did when he was 18 again and working under Eric Harrison in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787. He was at them and they were at him. There was great spirit – he was kicking them and they were kicking him!"
The reserve team coach then went on to admit that he saw shades of Scholes and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Giggs-c31985 in some of his reserve players and hoped that they could contribute to the team, just like the veterans have over the course of the last few years.
Scholes went on to have a massive impact at the club, following his return to the team. The player doesn’t seem to have missed a beat and even though he isn’t going to be playing every game for the team this coming season, he is still going to prove to be
vital to the club.
