Jr. High Class President?

Question

I'm starting 8th grade on Wed. And this year we have the class president elections. My friends tell me I'd be good because : I'm smart, organized, and friends with everyone in the grade. I told them I'd think about it. I'd want to but : we have to make a speech to do in front of the class (speeches make me sick to my stomach) and I'm not great at making decisions. Help/Advice please! I am the Freshman class president for my school.  I suggest you talk to someone who knows what they're talking about before you make any decisions.  I didn't know what I was supposed to do before I talked to my teacher.  Basically I'm in charge of class unification, which would be a great job for you since you're friends with everybody.  As for the speech, I suggest you write and edit it, have someone else read it that you know will tell the truth, and practice, practice, practice!!  (Don't practice in front of the mirror, though.  That just makes it worse.)  Anyways, from what you said, I think you will make a great Class Prez.
