Jr fans AND non-fans!!!....?

Question

Go to nascar.com and watch the PressPass conference/interview with Dale Jr. Whether you're a fan or not, I think you'll like it. It's pretty funny!! He talks about racing Jamie McMurray at the end, and some of it is just so hysterical.

Whether you like him or not, the man isn't blind -- he knows what his fans and haters are saying about him and he takes it all with a grain of salt so you have to tip your hat to him if he's really able to be this cool about everything; all the controversy surrounding him.

At the end of the day, win or no win, fair or unfair, whatever... I have to believe that all the guys are good people and they all drink a couple beers and laugh about situations on the track, and all of the crazy fans. And I have to believe that deep down, as much as we fight on here, we're all good people too. :)

Question -- after you've watched Jr's interview with the press... what do you think about the win, how he described his car, and the other things he said?

I recall many many Junior fans not so long ago when Danica Patrick beat Junior to the first win this year claiming that her win really didn't count because she won on fuel strategy. Are you still claiming that today?

I haven't seen it yet, but watching him win the race today, was totally awesome. He's raced his heart out this year, and we're thrilled about his win today. I love his commercials too.

i love that he thanked tony jr. if for no other reason than to quiet his critics. tony made a great call and dale made a great "save."

I so-o-o-o enjoyed this interview!!!  He was able to relax and show just a bit of that wit and personality we all know him to have.  Maybe he hasn't interviewed well in the recent past because he just got tired of talking about losing.

I really liked the remarks he made on racing Jamie Mac.  It must have been nice to relax and laugh a little after a long sought after win, huh?  

I also loved the segment on fathers and sons in racing history.  Looking back at the Allisons and the Earnhardts brought tears to my eyes.

It was a great day for Jr, his family, his team, and his fans too.  I agree that most of us are good people..... especially Earnhardt fans (just joking)!!!!!  Love to all fans and hope all of the Dads had a great day.
