Sorry, I am a die hard Dale Jr fan I will NEVER throw a beer at any driver, I think its totally un-necessary, you can just Boo that's enough, these people that throw beers at the race tracks need to be removed..You could accidentally hit a small child or a innocent fan.. Its just dumb to do things like this..Jr Nation needs to be more respectable..don't get me wrong I can party also, but do something dumb like throw a beer..Nope not me.

First of all, you need a whack just for asking this question..as a matter of fact.. these so beer throwing jerks and YES i said jerks that throw beer, are NOT ALL JR Fans......just plain old DRUNKS , who in my opinion need to be removed and placed under arrest for placing anyone in danger , not just a driver but other spectators who actually are FANS and not beer throwing, puking guts out, disgusting idiots!!!!

I go to a lot of races and see any of these idiots throwing beer, pepsi, hot dogs, what ever they can get their hands on and believe me they all are not TRUE FANS, just DRUNKS! and YES i have gotten from my seat and actually went and found the  police or security guards and took pride in pointing out these idiots and watching them being escorted OUT! and i will do it anytime i see it being done..I take pride in rooting for my drivers  and many others also..a TRUE FAN does not covet this type behavior and i am proud to be a JR, Kyle, Kurt, Biffle, Stewart, Khane, Edwards Newman, just to name a few....again thanks for the question i needed to get this off my mind for awhile and you just trying to open another can of worms....why don't you use them and go fishing..seems to me you ARE NOT A FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you dianne m. We are kindred spirits. It's all been said but here's my two cents. No fan with any modicum of respect for himself, the sport, fellow fans, the facility, good beer, the promoters, the officials, Jr Nation, Rowdy's world,or any driver would even consider such behavoir. Drunk or not. And I'd be willing to bet that Jr. would hit you upside the head a few times and exhile you from Jr. Nation for even asking this inane question. well, i agree with quite a few people on here - those most rabid of junior fans (or anybody's more rabid fans) dumb enough to throw things at drivers or down on the track usually are such poor athletes, or so drunk, that they generally can't hit anything anyways.

as for what it accomplishes - i'll tell you what.  remember junior's interview right after richmond?  he was bummed not about the on-track incident, but the points lost.  after the incident, junior got his car repaired and went back to 16th for the restart.  more than likely he could have made it back into the top 10 easily EXCEPT so-called "fans" had thrown so much c**p on the track that it took 8 or so extra laps under yellow to clean it all up, leaving junior that much less time to move back through the field.

I'm a proud member of Jr Nation but I would never throw beer at anyone and I don't condone that kind of behavior that's the c**p that gives Jr Nation a bad name and believe it or not there are some of us Jr Nation fans that are good people!!
