Jrock where did you first hear of it?why do you love it so much?

How did you get into it? I got into it by another friend telling me about it,so now i love japanese music and stuff my dad likes,like metallica but i wouln't call myself a fan of those as i am of l'arc~en~ciel and such lol.

I was influenced by my twin sister.

She was playing "Mirror" by D'espairsRay almost everyday! I was irritated by those loud music in her iPOD plus my mom's iTunes Library is flooded with visual kei/oshare kei songs. So I decided to listen to it too since rock music is my type of music. Even though I attended only 1 year of Japanese course, I think I could understand what they are saying.

The only English bands I know is Linkin Park, so 90 percent of songs in my iPod are either Japanese, Russian, or some kind of soundtracks from a game or an anime. :-D

my bff's were listening to it all the time and no that she burned me a couple CD's I'm addicted to j-rock there's very few american bands that i know any more.
