  1. Get a lawyer involved to make sure that they're legit.

  2. ahh john robert powers...ok..this SHOULD answer your question. People say they are a SCAM just like One Source Talent...any agency that will ask for money is FAKE.although...let me tell you this..they are more of a HOOK UP then a talent agency..my friend paid about 8 thousand dollars to be in an elite class...basically your paying money to be represented...if they screen you...thats something different..but...just follow me..more of a hook up then an agency. find other agencies in or around your community..for ex. i live in chicago...im thinking of going for Encore Talent Agency..and..dont pay them money...ask for details and im sure youll come up with a decision..hope this answers your question :)

  3. I looked up JRPs on the BBB, and you may want to do the same. There are some JRPs listed around the country ... some with unsatisfactory ratings, some out of business, and some with satisfactory ratings.

And, no, an agency should never ask for fees upfront. As well, they should only obtain 10% of the work you obtain as an actor/model. (20% is too high!)

If this is a school, that is different, but they should call themselves an "agent," if that is what they have done.

  4. HEY ! if any agents ask u for "up front" fees it's not legit. its ILLEGEL to ask for money without them already having represented you and u got work, and then when u get paid 4 said work they get 10-20%. THATS IT ! idk bout this 'screening' tho. i think it's a scam. go 2 google and google this agency. ive never even HEARD of it b4. good luck. try looking for REAL agencys and sending ur headshot and resume in. u could always be 'screened' but if they EVER ask for money before you have done work through them its a scam. its an illegel scam. good luck on this one !

  5. for al the info u need to know go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com

and search the whole site for everythig it wont pup up infront of u

but take classes do plays and join the drama club build your resume and get an agent

never pay if they ask for money theyre a scam

  6. JRP is a rip-off, they just want your money! Check out ripoffreport dot com, I think that they have some compaints on there.
