Juan Arango insists Monchengladbach’s successful start is a result of hard work- Bundesliga news
Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juan-Arango-c19652 has insisted that the side’s brilliant start to the season is the result of the immense hard work the players had put in before the campaign started. He admitted that the club’s performance
this season has been in complete contrast to the previous one and is hopeful of finishing higher on the standings table.
The Foals are only behind leaders Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen on the standings table with 13 points so far in the current campaign. The team has made many heads turn with the displays this term and were a far cry from the team
that took part in the relegation play-off against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Bochum-c40880 at the end of last season.
Monchengladbach defeated http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Oenning’s dismal Hamburg SV 1-0 in the weekend’s fixture to gain all three points and make it four wins from six matches played so far.
Arango claimed that the Bundesliga is one of the most competitive leagues in the world and there is no dominance of some teams like in the Spanish La Liga and the Premier League. He added that every team gets its chance and is
capable of beating the other.
“It's an extremely balanced league and things can change very quickly. However, our success hasn't come as a huge surprise because it's a consequence of the hard work we put in during the latter stages of last season,” he was quoted
as saying in an interview to Bundesliga.de.
The Venezuelan international refused to comment on the team’s European chances and insisted that the club will take one game at a time to make sure the good performances continue in the future.
“Since the start of the season we've worked to get the maximum out of ourselves every day. We had all dreamed of a start like this, but I don't want to start discussing the Europa or Champions League. We're taking it game by game,
which seems to be working so far,” he concluded.
Juan Arango made 22 appearances last season and scored three goals in the process.
