Juan Manual Iturbe is still adapting to the game in Europe, says FC Porto coach Vitor Pereira

Labelled as the ‘new http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paraguay-c2979 to being at one of the biggest club’s in Europe, his rise has been meteoric.
Initially starting with Porteño in the Paraguayan league, he made the switch to Quilmes last year, from where he was snapped by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186.
The Portistas confirmed that they were signing the starlet in January but also added that the move would only be completed when the player turned eighteen. Till then Iturbe honed his skills with the Cyclone and his return of goals at the helm was ever impressive.
Six goals in sixteen appearances in the 2010/2011 season was an outstanding return from the forward, who is touted to reach the highest echelons of football.
Now currently with the Portuguese champions, the talented attacker is on the fringes of the first team but has yet to make his official debut for the club.
Responding to why the Argentine was not featuring for his side, Porto boss Vitor Pereira revealed that the player had not yet got accustomed to the European style of playing and has some time to go before he makes the team list regularly.
Speaking to reporters, the trainer said that Iturbe was a talented lad but he had still not got used to the game in his new surroundings and that’s why he wasn’t pressuring the 18-year-old to take to the field.
“Iturbe is talented but is still developing himself for Europe. So we cannot have high expectations. But Iturbe has the potential to make the team,” Vitor Pereira was quoted as saying.
Although http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juan-Manuel-Iturbe-c19772 has yet to play for his new employers, he could get the opportunity when the Dragons clash with Pero Pinheiro in the Portuguese cup on the 15th of October.
