Juan Pablo Montoya and Kyle Bush?

Question

So what does Nascar have to say about Juan taking Kyle out of the race Sunday? Has any one heard of a penalty?

he got a two lap penalty that dropped him from 25th to 32nd.. my thing is it actually hurt kyle more because he had a 24th place finish that hurt his standing in the championship... juan pablo isn't going through the chase and those small points his lost he doesn't really care

He was just docked two laps in his finishing order.

He finished 32nd as a result of this.

They penalized him 2 laps,but stated no further penalties would be issued.They should have given Montoya bonus points for that,I know I did!!!!!!JPM rules in my book!!

yup, nascar handled the problem right then and there by penalizing jpm two laps, sending him from 26th to 32nd in the official results.  so he lost some points, and it seems as though that will be all.  and that's probably about what it deserved. if it had caused problems for other drivers/teams/owners then the penalty should have been more severe, but this probably was two guys on each other's nerves, and one stepped over nascar's line of acceptability - especially under caution.

case closed i would imagine, at least in nascar's book.
