The Giallorossi defender’s agent insists that the player wants to finish his contract, that stretches to 2013, before looking for a move away from the club.
Juan Silveira dos Santos has let the news out through his agent that he is eager to stay with the team, and does not want to move away from the club until his contract expires at the end of the next season.
The centre-back picked up an injury in March’s Rome Derby, and is currently training separate from the rest of the squad at the training ground, in order to ensure his speedy recovery back to match fitness.
The Brazilian’s agent revealed that the players is starting to analyze his options, and insisted that the guard wants to stay at the current club until at least the next season. The representative stated that the decision has been taken by the player after
due consultation from his family, and he is now planning to stay until the expiry of his contract in 2013.
While talking to goal.com, Gerbino said:
“It’s true, Juan is currently considering his future and, after talking with his family, is planning to complete his contract with Roma that binds him until 2013.”
The representative insisted that the veteran guard does not want to end his stint at the Giallorossi on a sad note of their defeat in the Rome derby, where he was also subjected to some racial intones from Lazio supporters.

The agent insisted that although Juan explored the possibility of a move away from the club in January, the Brazilian has always been happy at the capital city of Rome. The Giallorossi player’s spokesperson insisted that his client is completely focussed
