his five years at the club.
The stopper joined the Stadio Olimpico outfit in his prime, at the age of 28, and five years later, the defender feels he has been lucky to have played for the Wolves in the Serie A. There was a year left in his contract, however, the defender terminated

the score sheet 11 times. He also managed to win silverware during his time with the Giallorossi, having won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana; however, the Scudetto eluded the former Flamengo defender.

“There are cycles in football and mine at Roma was beautiful. I’ll always carry the fans and my teammates in my heart who were always very respectful to me. I’ll leave with my head held high as I always did my best and I’m proud of that.”
Juan’s next destination sees him move back to his homeland with a move to Internacional on the cards. He reflected on the options he had for the summer and continued:
“I spoke to Flamengo but we couldn’t close a deal. Then when I had found an agreement with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flamengo-c39361 called again but it was too late. I had given my word.”
