Jubilee Games geared up to win Novice Stakes
The Richard Fahey-trained bay colt, Jubilee Games, is well-prepared to take an acid test of his racing personas in his maiden going over 6 furlongs in the Betfred “The Bonus King” Novice Stakes, a high-voltage Class 5 contest that will be held at Newcastle
racecourse on Thursday, June 28. The action is set to start at 2:00 (GMT).
Pursuing the prize cheque worth £2,264, the two-year-old novice runner will run against three strong rivals such as New Pearl, Somethingboutmary and Titus Titan.
The son of Pastoral Pursuits out of Jane Jubilee has an impressive record over 5 furlongs. In the only two races of his career, the maverick colt has delivered outstanding performances.
The P. And Mrs A. G. Venner-bred talented sprinter staged a stunning debut at Beverley track on April 18, 2012, finishing 4th against 11 rivals. Luckily, he got a favourite tag for his very next race.
This was the Bryndley Davies Working From Home Maiden Auction Stakes that took place at Musselburgh course on May 3. Being a 13-8 favourite, he defeated 5 competitors.
Now, the Lets Go Racing 1-onwed runner is going to land at Newcastle with sheer confidence and immense zeal. If he manages to keep his winning drive intact, he will definitely be able to thrive convincingly.
However, Jubilee Games will have to face some resistance from Somethingboutmary and New Pearl.
Somethingboutmary started her career with a grand title of the Maiden Stakes on April 10, 2012. That race went down on 5-furlng Southwell track. The Kevin Ryan-trained young filly went on to finish 8th against 10 contestants in her second and
last outing on May 18. This was the Marygate Fillies’ Stakes, held at York.
New Pearl also debuted with a glaring triumph on May 6, 2012. The David Brown-trained grey colt’s maiden race entitled as Makfi Future Stars Maiden Stakes was held at Newmarket. He moved forward to get a runner-up rank in Conditions Stakes at Pontefract
on June 1.
The New Deal Partnership-bred colt grabbed 18th spot against 21 rivals in his last start on June 19.
In this situation, it is expected that there will be a stern duel at Newcastle today. Let us see who gains what. Good luck to all the four contestants.
