Judah vs Mosley is ON! Also the undercard is not bad either?

Shane Mosley vs Zab Judah is on in May 31st in Las Vegas. Also the undercard is fights that is being discussed and might be sealed are:

Ponce De Leon vs Celestino Caballero unification rematch

Rocky Juarez vs Jorge Barrios

Jadon Codrington vs Sakio Bika - Contender Championship rematch

This is a nice card if Golden Boy Promotions pulls it off! Here is my results of each fight.

Mosley will cause Judah to break down late and give him an early retirement from boxing in 8 rounds.

Juarez will storm back to promise with this win over Barrios with lopsided decision in 12.

De Leon will be faustrated in the early rounds but will raly to win his unification match by close decision and then move up to 126lbs.

Bika vs Codrington is this year's fight of the year if it comes off to be like the first one. Codrington will get his revenge in this fight and win a tight well fought decision.

  1. Agree with you. Mosley and Judah have both fast hands but i think Mosley would get to him and break him down in the late rounds. Mosley is a much harder puncher than Judah and he's also a much better counter puncher than Zab. Mosley would stay calm and box for the first 6 rounds after those 6 rounds Judah is gone and Mosley would take the foght to him and cause him an early retirement. Rocky Juarez would take control of the fight and never look back as he goes on to win by a Unanimous decision. I wouldn't be surprise if Juarez KO Barrios in the late rounds after Barrios has nothing in in the tank. De Leon would start he's usual pressuring his opponent and hitting him with hard shots in the early rounds. If he doesn't KO Cabballero in before the 6 or 7th round the fight would go all the Way and Ponce wins by a Decision. Bika and Corrington can arguably be the fight of the year if Marquez and Vasquez don't steal the show after their 3rd fight. Bika vs Corrington would be a highly action fight one of the best in the year and one of those fights were you would like to see these guys again. If there no KO in the late rounds the fight would be very hard to Judge and it would most likely be a Split Decision.

  2. No, this will be one way. Zab has a tendency to break down when he is threatened...he doesnt thrive on pressure. And Shane WILL be faster and hit harder than anyone Zab has fought...including Floyd. Difference is Shane hits with murderous intent...unlike Floyd who is content to peck and hunt...if the knockout comes, great.

Zab is trained by his father...who is a kick boxer. There is a WORLD of difference between the two....which is why Zab has great hands and hits hard...but his fighting in the pocket skills suck so bad.

Shane outskills him...and may knock him out.

  3. I know imma get alot of thumbs down for this BUT, I think it will be an upset. I think Judah gets at Mosley and takes it to the cards and wins because of him knokkin Mosley down in the 4th or 8th round. Mosley put a good performance BUT he showed up that he has problems against faster punchers when it comes to counterpunching. I think Judah beats him with speed. I think Judah understands this is his last chance. Its either "Go or Blow".

Im looking forward to the Bika and Codrington fight. Dude, I watch that fight on my computer all the time. Hopefully it'll be like the first. Dont know though because their trainers will be telling them to be more safe. BUT, then again, Bika cant box. So, there will be a fight.

  4. Mosley wins because he is the better boxer he had a better fight vs Cotto than Judah did. Mosley has knocked out much bigger guys with him like Vargas and Mosley is not scared of Judah at all Mosley has always fought bigger guys like Winky, Forrest, Vargas and a small guy like Judah who doesn't give boxing 100 % is a guaranteed win for Mosley by knockout or unanimous decision. Shane has all around better hand speed, footwork and power he will beat Judah into retirement.

  5. Call it a gut-feeling, but I agree that Judah just might have what it takes to capitalize on what Cotto started with Mosley.  Zab stood and traded with Cotto. . . whereas Mosley boxed and got hit a lot more often.  With Cotto being a like opponent of the two, I pick Zab over Mosley by unanimous decision in a stunner.

I must also add that Bika-Codrington 2 will probably be a bit lamer than the first one.  Sorry to say, but the chance of winning the entire Contender show is a bigger motivator than simply winning a normal match. . .even against the same fighter.  Both will use their defense more, which makes for a calmer, quieter affair.  I hope, however, that I'm wrong.
