Judd Trump wants his snooker to shine in 2012 World Snooker Championship – Snooker News
Recent snooker season has been a convincing finish for the 2011 UK Championship winner, England’s Judd Trump. He also had a superb finish in the previous season winning his first ranking title after he ousted Mark Selby in the final encounter of the 2011
China Open.
After that he reached the final clash of the 2011 World Snooker Championship against John Higgins but was not able to win it and tumbled down by the score line of 15-18.
Lately, especially after he emerged on the face of the snooker world after hitting the final of World Championship, there has been a lot of talk about his hair style and life style along with his professional life which he does not like at all.
He believes people should see him as a sportsperson not as a playboy. He wants to prove his class in the 2012 World Snooker Championship and tell the world that he is one of the top dogs around. He said that his snooker skills will do the talking at the
Crucible Theatre in Sheffield when he enters the arena.
While speaking to the media, Trump said, “I feel I work as hard, if not harder, than anyone. I'm always practising because I enjoy it. I am dedicated, but you've got to live your life and enjoy yourself at the same time. I'm going to let my snooker do the
talking because too many have been talking about my lifestyle.”
The Ace added, “I've not had any distractions this season and hardly been out for a drink apart from the Easter weekend. A lot of people have tried to put a lot more attention on me, but I don't need that. I do tend to keep myself to myself.”
The 2011 China Open winner has been placed against Wales’ Dominic Dale in the opening round of the Championship. He has played against Dale in the past so the match up will not be so difficult for the Englishman as he is on song these days.
His recent achievements in the current season, particularly in the 2011 UK Championship, have given him a lot of confidence and he feels ready for any challenge.
