  1. no, are you?

  2. Absolutely not.

  3. sure, why not.

  4. Not all, but I'd suspect quite a few are

  5. Some of them are; we should realize that they are humans like you and me, they make mistakes and make bad judgment sometimes.

  6. No, most devote their live to the pursuit of truth and the law. The " Power", is in the decisions "You" make.

  7. Judges don't have as much power as some think. They are bound by the laws and case law. They are bound by the code of their profession. They have superior judges monitoring them and Supreme Court Judges over ruling moronic decisions.

That being said, Judges are people too. I am sure there are a few who lie, cheat, steal, beat their spouse....just like every other profession in the world, although, probably less than alot of professions seeing as it is pretty hard to become a Judge.

  8. Some are...where I live a Judge that presides over DUI courts just plead guilty for his own DUI (he was pulled over in another town and backed into a police car after being pulled over) and was sentanced to 2 years probation and 90 day suspension on his license and he is up for re-election this fall but can serve in the capacity of Judge in the meantime, which any criminal convicted in his Court could easily appeal and cost the taxpayers thousands upon thousands of dollars.   If a Judge is pleads guilty/is convicted, he should automatically be terminated from being a Judge.
