I thought that Rafa was now going to win the US Open, but now I'm starting to doubt that. I think Djokovic will win this year. Even Federer may have a good chance because he's made it to the semis and finals of grand slams. WHAT ARE YOUR PREDICTIONS???

=D

  1. Rafa has significantly improved his game, being able to win on hard, grass and of course clay, but lets not forget the others, Federrer , with his experience, Djokovic being, what I think, the best hard court player, but lets not forget that there is a chance that someone may cause an upset...but my money is on Nadal

  2. Rafa will be burnt out at the USO. Hope he loses first round at the olympics seeing that he doesn't plan on skipping. The extra week of rest will do him a lot of good.

Novak is my heavy favorite followed by Federer and Murray.

For the women Dinara Safina or JELENA JANKOVIC ;-) Ajde JJ!!!

  3. I still have faith in Rafa :)

He can do it, just needs a little rest lol

    Vamos Rafa !!

  4. nadal is still the most dominatnt player of the year. and i pick RAFA to go alll the way.federer has been too much of a let down. and djokovic out played rafa in cincy, but rafa always win when it means the most. i think the olympics will play a great deal to the chances in the us open.

    VAMOS RAFA!!

  5. Rafa has played really well and I think he only lost to Nole because he was feeling burnt out. I'm sure we'll see him go deeper in the U.S. Open than ever before. but I still believe Federer will win it.

  6. One loss in cincinnati means losing the coming slams? common! Lets be real now, he may or may not win..not everyone wins 24/7 (cause thats just unreal), but you definately cannot count him out, not even by one percent!

  7. I still think Rafa can win it :) ! You shouldnt doubt him, i mean yes Novak did produce the better tennis that day however ur forgetting some facts lol Novak has had more time to rest and prepare for the hard season he was by far the freshest of the two, Rafa was serving poorly well not compared to what he has been doing, it certainly wasnt his best tennis and he admitted that. I dont think Novak will win the US Open :) he is a strong contender, but i think he`ll get put out before the semis. Rafa and Roger are my picks !!! Vamos Rafa he can do it !!!! Doubting the world #1 tisk tisk !

  8. I think Rafa might have some chance, but Djokovic, Murray, and Federer all have better chances to win.  Federer has won the US Open many times and the surface suits his playing style well.  Djokovic is becoming better and better, and by beating Nadal on hard court gives him even more confidence.  Then winner of Cincy, Andy Murray, will also have a good chance of winning the US Open, because judging by his excitement and skill he has what it takes to win grand slams; he is also young, and he might one day be crowned as world number one.  Rafa won like 35 matches in a row, and that's very tiring so I think he might not do that well in the US Open.  (That's just what I "think." I could be very wrong)  What do you think?

  9. I think Rafa will do well in the US Open because he is preparing for it and the Olympics as well...lets take it one at a time...the Olympics first then well talk about the US Open next, alright?

  10. Rafa, Roger, Novak and Andy are favorites. I guess it all depends on who faces whom. Novak will feel confident if he faces Nadal and Andy will feel confident when he faces Novak. There are other good HC players as well who could take them out like Blake, Nalby etc.

Federer's performance will depend on how soon he sorts out his mental issues.

  11. Looking back at the recent form Nadal has a thin edge over his archrivals Federer and Djokovic. but I still believes that Federer can bring a surprise
