Juicy interview. manager hasn't called back yet??????

hi! i had an interview at Juicy Couture last Thursday and it seemed to have gone really well! it lasted about half an hour..also another manager in the company knew me and she told me that the other manager put in a good word for me...she said she'd most likely be able to give me the kind of salary I asked for..she talked about the company a lot and said she would give me a call by monday night...

monday night which was yetserday came and no call...so I called this afternoon and just told her that I was just "following up on the interview" she then said " oh okay. well i'll give you a call by tonight. I promise! okay bye!"

and still she hasn't given me a call yet...

im so confused!!!! could she just have been really busy or what!?!?!

Sounds to me like you are getting the bums rush!

You can call her again but not sure if the squeaky wheel always pays off but persistance usually does.

Good luck but I think I would continue having interviews and keep your options open.

It could have been a couple of different things. One, they have not made a decision yet. Two, she was busy. Three, you did not get the job. It does not sound as though she was very professional on the phone nor is it professional to say they will call a certian day and not do so. I know it would ease your mind some if they at least called to say they had not yet made a decision. I suggest you try calling again in the morning and speaking with the person that interviewed you or the human resource department. I know sometimes speaking to the right person is the only way to get a straight answer.
