Jujutsuka's: Do you prefer Tenkan or Irimi?

Please expain why your answer works better for you.

Tenkan if possible for me as I prefer to be on the outside of my attacker( turning clockwise with the rear foot whilst pivioting with the leading foot ) as opposed to irimi which is direct or entering and sometimes initiating  or preempting an attack.

Why... my fav techiques in club training, are wrist throws,straight arm locks,and figure four lock into outside hock throw and crab craw scissors throw.
