Julian Reister upsets Lukas Rosol in the second round – Trnava Challenger 2012 CH 
Top seeded, Lukas Rosol, received his biggest disappointment at the hands of the German participant, Julian Reister, in the second round of the Trnava Challenger 2012 held in Slovakia. The German underdog summed
his 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory in one hour and 56 minutes.
Ranked 441st in the South African Airways ATP World Tour Rankings, Reister confidently stepped on the courts but immediately the score line went against his favour after second game. Rosol
secured the lead by breaking his rival’s serve to successfully and advanced without facing any resistance to quickly grab all the games, concluding the set with a 6-4 score.
The world number 86th,Rosol, had a relatively better initial serve accuracy of 67 percent and he secured 15 of 18 first and five of nine second serve points. On the other hand, Reister could barely
attain 38 percent initial serve, with seven of 10 points.
The 26-year-old German picked pace in the second set and he broke the Czech’s initial serve. His rival proved insignificant in front of him and bestowed the initial three games, marking a 3-love lead. Rosol gradually
collected all his strength and by the end of the fifth game, he broke Reister’s serve and evened the score line to 3-all. However, the German participant set off and closed the set with a 6-3 lead.
Both players manifested exactly the similar initial serve precision but the German participant secured 11 of 20 first and 13 of 22 second deliveries. On the other hand, the higher-ranked Czech snatched 10 of
14 first and four of 15 second serve points. From five serve breaks, he capitalized just two.  
The decider proved to be a tough deal for the players, as they wanted to secure the winning spot. Like before the right-hander German ruined his rival’s first serve and clinched the first four games in a row.
Moving towards the end, Rosol tried hard to shift the momentum but his efforts proved insignificant as his competitor provided him with a tough competition.  Eventually, Reister concluded the decider with a 6-2 win.
Previously, Rosol defeated his rival in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(3) in the second round of the Braunschweing Challenger held at Germany. For the next round, Reister will contest against the fifth seeded Andrey
Kuznetsov.
