Juliard school for acting and other arts...?

but for acting why is it so hard to get into? Do they look for u know SAT scores hardcore? and do they look for if u took drama 1 and drama advanced and if u were in plays and in the drama club? i aspire to be sent to juliard! is it a pretty school? is it nice? sry for all the questions but best answerer gets 5 stars..i never give out less than 5 stars.. lol

what happens if u havent been acting all ur life? can u still have a shot to get in?

  1. I'm not sure about admission requirements for Julliard but you could check their website (www.julliard.edu) for more information.

    It is probably so hard to get in to because it is a very prestigious school and not just anyone can waltz in there and be admitted. On my most recent visit to NYC, I saw their building right by Lincoln Center, so it is pretty close to all of the action in the Big Apple. If you get a chance to go to NYC, you should to see if you can keep up with the fast pace of the city before making a big move there.

    James Marsters ("Spike" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and other roles - he's been in a lot of stuff) was admitted to Julliard and said it was basically a waste of his time and money. They kicked him out after he disagreed with some of their acting techniques. Go figure.

    If you're still set on going to Julliard, find out all you can about it and then go for it! If it doesn't work out for you, something better will come along! :)
