Julien Feret was delighted as his side, Stade Rennais FC won the semi-final fixture against Montpellier Herault SC in the Coupe de la Ligue. The Rennes-based club dominated their opponents through much of the game, as they managed to score two goals while
conceding none. Feret was among the goal-scorers who ensured his side a place in the final of the prestigious tournament against AS Saint-Etienne.
The midfielder managed to score the opening goal of the game, and proved to be a consistent threat to the opponents defence. La Paillade were over powered by the Rennes-based club, who seem to be all geared up for lifting the Coupe de la Ligue.
Feret was as happy about the clean-sheet as he was about scoring his goal. The veteran was glad that Les Rouge-et-Noirs showed real character out on the pitch, and didn’t commit any mistakes at all. The side just proved to be too good for their opponents,
whom they dominated throughout the game. The talented midfielder described the situation:

The 30-year-old feels ecstatic upon qualifying for the final of the prestigious tournament. The player believes that if the team continues to play like this, then they surely have a chance to win the title, and end their trophy draught.
The midfielder expressed his intent to lift the trophy, but at the same time highlighted the importance of the Championnat as well. The Rennes Academy graduate feels great to be back with his childhood club, and praised the Les Rouge-et-Noirs. The veteran feels honoured to be a part of this club, as he stated:
“I'm proud to be a part of this team."
