SC Bastia have attained the services of the 32-year-old on a one-year-contract, and the player is delighted to be playing in the Ligue 1 once more
The midfielder, who was without a club following the expiration of his contract with Nice in the summer, has expressed his relief at securing a move to top-flight football once again.

“I was starting to lose belief and I was scared of not finding a suitable challenge."
On a question regarding his move to Stade Armand Cesari, the Frenchman said that his priority was to stay in Ligue 1 despite attracting interest from several foreign clubs. The 32-year-old added that Bastia showed that they really wanted him and that was
the main reason behind his decision to join Frederic Hantz’s side.
Sable revealed that couple of clubs from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Greece-c2908, and few Ligue 2 sides were interested in acquiring his signature but he opted to move to Bastia as he was attracted by the ambitions of the club.
"I had options in Greece, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, but it was too early for me for that; my priority was to stay in Ligue 1."
Praising the club supporters, the former Lens player said that I Lioni di Furiani are lucky to have such amazing fans, are they are a great source of motivation for the players.
"Bastia is a club of the people, the kind I have always known. They have demanding fans. The objective is to work hard in moving the club forward.”
Julien Sable added that Bastia have been really impressive over the last couple of years and he is looking forward to help the side achieve their targets this season.
“They have had two great seasons and I am up for the challenge and show what I am capable of."
SC Bastia will take on AC Ajaccio in their next game of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign.
