  1. he is still undeafeted.he is a good fighter and he hits hard.you need to watch his younger brother to omar chavez.he is undeafeted also.

  2. Both Julio's sons are undefeated, however careers still too early to judge vs Julio Sr.

Both Jrs' are still learning to box

No amateur boxing career for both.

    Give them 2-3 years experience.

  3. He is still trying to make his way up through the ranks.  He has a current record of 36-0-1, 29 KOs.  I am honestly not really sure about him yet in terms of his ability to become a world champion or a superstar as you put it.  He can fight, but in his past few outings, he has struggled a bit and has not looked all that impressive until the end.  He has a good left hook to the body like his father had, but he had no amateur background and he is still learning as a pro even though he's had 37 fights.  Bob Arum keeps on putting him on these lousy pay-per views that aren't worth it, and as a result, the majority of the fans don't get a chance to see him that often.  What Arum should be doing is putting him on HBO's "Boxing After Dark" or Showtime's "Shobox" so that the fans can get a chance to see and talk about him, and so he can get more marketability.  We won't really know how good he is until he fights a worthwile opponent because the guys that he's been beating now are not even worth your attention.  That will ultimately answer your question of whether or not he is just an average fighter or something more than that.

  4. He OK, thing with chavez jr is that he doesnt have one specific skill but all around skill,

for example he dont have crazy power or speed

but just all around power and speed..

Also another thing about him is he's never taken that

so call STEP UP in the pros, meaning he ALWAYS fights

these class c fighters who are hand picked and stand no chance in fron of him,

I would like to see him step up in class fighters

  5. he is a great young fighter who will be a superstar if he is able to continue to fight the way he is right now
