  1. James is right, if Hatton fought Mayweather again or De La Hoya in Britain there wouldnt be a stadium big enough to hold all the British fans that would want to attend (even Wembley which holds around 90000). Mayweather doesnt have a fanbase at all, after being at his last fight in Vegas it was quite easy to see that of the 20000 fans in that arena about 300 were Mayweather fans. De La Hoya against Chavez Jr would be a big draw because of Chavez Srs fanbase following Jr and Oscars appeal to the fans. Any record breaking crowd i would say would have to be a fight made outside of America as the arenas or stadiums just arent big enough. So maybe in a couple of years Chavez Jr against Oscar in Mexico could be a record breaker.

  2. Frank D you hit that nail right on the head. Floyd does not have fans at all but the few home boys whom benefit from Floyd's rampage money tossing tantrums.

Floyd would not fill a public restroom during pick hours.

Black folks are not hard core fans of boxing like Mexicans, or now Philippines. and that is why Floyd lacks support from the Black (intelligent) community.

I love to see DLH and JCJr. get it on anywhere now

  3. His son is not good enough

  4. That is not true, they would not fill up 136,000 people because this would be an easy fight for Oscar, way too easy... it would have to be oscar and manny pacquiao in mexico... that would fill mexico stadium with mexicans and phillipinos... they all want to see manny, the mexican assasin, lose and they phillipinos all want to see manny beat oscar de la hoya, the golden boy.... no one would top that... although this fight will be easy for DLH too...

  5. not anytime soon

  6. not true if there was a stadium big enough in england ricky hatton would fill it no problem

  7. By the time Chavez Jr. is at that level, De La Hoya will be on the down slope, it will be a repeat of De La Hoya vs Chavez Sr. perhaps!

  8. i don't think so, his son not that good
