Going for ahoneymoon rivereia maya waited 8 years for this - dont want a d**n hurricane to ruin it....? wat u think going early july for 2 weeks....

Relax - First half of July is before hurricane season.  It wil be HOT HOT HOT however.  Think melt the asphalt to the bottom of your shoes hot...

Bring plenty of sunscreen as the sun can be brutal.

I agree with the first answer. The riviera is very very hot in july. And don't worry hurricane season is not until September-October.
