Jumeirah Palm Star expected to win Investment Handicap
Jumeirah Palm Star will shine with full resplendence at Epsom racecourse and notch up top spot in the Investec Investment Handicap that is going to take place on Wednesday, April 25.
In the Class 5 contest, the Richard Hannon-trained bay filly will confidently compete against 11 rivals that include King Of Wing, Rockgoat, Cape Rainbow, Feisty Champion, Attain, My Sharona, Piers Gaveston, King Vahe, Uncle Roger, Talk Of The North and
Jane Lachatte.
The high-voltage race over a distance of 1 mile and 114 yards is scheduled to commence at 5:00 (GMT). A prize cheque of £3,235 is ready for the supposed winner.
Jumeirah Palm Star broke her maiden in her last outing on March 23, 2012. Despite being a non-favourite filly, she gave enough tough time to her 4 competitors and crossed the boundary strap first of all convincingly.
The three-year-old novice runner started her career in June 2011. Overall, she has run for 4 times to date, earning £2,386.
Jumeirah Palm is expected to run with high momentum and extreme confidence on the soft Epsom track in a bid to add second straight victory to her career chart.
Rockgoat is the only runner who can impede the hot favourite filly’s way towards victory. The Marco Botti-trained bay gelding staged his debut on February 24, 2012 and elegantly won his very maiden race. The brilliant horse moved forward to finish 5th
in his second and last start on March 23.
Feisty Champion is also strong enough to trigger an upset in the race. J. W. Hills’ bay colt excellently claimed first position in his last outing on October 29, 2011. Prior to this, he had finished 6th in his maiden race on October 10.
In the light of the above analysis, it is predicted that there will be a tough tug of war among Jumeirah Palm, Rockgoat and Feisty Champion. Let us see how better Jumeirah Palm manages to capitalise on her inherent capabilities to outplay her opponents.
The competition will be interesting indeed.
