  1. i dont know what direction skater you are, so ill just write the jumps as a CCW skater would do them....

loop - can be entered from backwards crossovers, a three turn or a mohawk. takes off a tight right backwards outside edge and lands on the same edge.

flip - starts from LFO 3 turn, takes off left backwards inside edge with right toepick assist, lands on right backwards outside edge.

lutz - takes off from left backwards outside edge with right toepick assist, lands on right backwards outside edge.

toe loop - starts from RFI 3 turn to backwards, takes off right backwards outside edge with left toepick assist, lands on right backwards outside edge.

im sorry i only know the edges they take off well enough to comment about :P

  2. Take a look at tis site, it gives you a definition and illustrations!

  3. it would help if you tell ius which direction you jump..

I'm going to assume you jump in the majority direction.

Loop- you are taking of on the right foot on the inside edge. Kind of on a circle pattern. You glide into it on two feet and when you take off you turn forward while lifting your left leg up into rotating position. Rotating 1,2,or 3 times.

Flip- As you go in your right leg goes back and you perform a 3 turn. Your right foot goes into the ice while your left foot is on an inside edge. (right toe goes in ice)

Lutz- Same as the flip. Same foot except the difference is instead of an inside edge you are taking off, you are taking off on a outside edge.

Toe loop- right inside 3 turn and you place your left foot in the ice while your right foot is passing your left foot. I am not sure on edge for this one but i believe it is the outside. a back pivet (not sure on spelling) will demonstrate the motion you need.

  4. Loop- Outside edge for your right foot, inside edge for your left foot.

    Flip- right toe pick

    Lutz- Right toe pick

    Toe Loop- Left toe pick
