Jump rope to loose overall body fat?

i'm a 17 year old female,5'3 and 113 pounds,im not overweight but i am trying to get rid of belly fat...i know you can't spot reduce,but i was wondering what exercises are best for loosing body fat..i'm jump roping everyday for 40 minutes,i have been for about 2 weeks,and have been watching what i eat..and eliminating all carbs after 7

i don't have access to the gym,i want exercises i can do at home,i have a stability/exercise ball

  1. Jump roping is a very efficient cardio workout and is great for toning muscles and burning fat!  Especially if you want to tone your abs since you utilize your core when jumping to maintain balance, so your core gets a workout.

    My coach had me jump rope all of last summer to increase footspeed, among others; just like you I wasn't big to begin with but I ended up losing 12 lbs in just 3 months and got more toned core.

    You may want to try it HIIT style which maximizes your workout and lessens your workout time.
