  1. Since you have the time to get your arms ready, I usually recommend that you use 2 hands to toss the ball.  (When you are standing, you want your hitting hand ready to hit the ball with a short toss.)  Tossing with 2 hands gets you more control of your toss.  Good luck.  The toss is the hardest part of the jump serve.

  2. Toss with your hitting hand, and you sorta have to let it roll a little off the tips of your fingers. But not much or it will go way out in front of you.

  3. Cup your non-serving hand and let the ball rest in it and then move the ball in front of your hitting arm.

Toss the ball without spin about 1- 1.5 feet above your hitting arm, in front of your body, with your most comfortable hand and put it in a spot that allows you to spike the ball from that distance.

When tossing, let the ball roll off your index finger [don't flick it].

    It's all on the toss.

  4. you should toss with your hitting hand. when you toss, dont bring your arm way back. just down, and then toss it up. make sure not to bend your arm when you toss. this might be the cause of it going straight up or behind you.

  5. first off make sure you are using the correct footwork, left right left. if you have that done good. next make sure your toss is in front of you so you have plenty of time to do your approach. and that you are tossing with the hitting hand.but your toss shouldn't be so far ahead of you that you are waiting on it. now you should be ok. so it should look like this left, toss the ball, right, left, jump!!!! MAKE SURE YOU SNAP YOUR WRIST!!!

    GOOD LUCK!!!
