  1. throw the ball a little in front of you and higher than you would in a regular serve take one step or what ever works for you and hit the ball the main point of a jump serve is to make sure the ball clears the net try to hit the ball when it is right in contact with your wrist if you can't do a jump serve don't sweat it , it is ok just stick to your normal serve

  2. I tend to first go up to the serving line, then take three steps back and then a little extra step back.

Then, I throw up the ball and take my spike approach, then jump up and smack that baby.

I could explain it, but this will help you so much more.

The jump float is the second serve explained, and the jump serve is the last one.

  3. well if ur left handed just do everything the opposite of what i say.

U stand about ten feet behind the end line with ur right foot forward, then toss with ur right hand.  Make sure that the toss is high enough for u to be able to make a full approach on it.  Take ur approach (left right left) and hit it.  It is important to put a lot of spin on it so that it is directed down into the court.

It takes a lot of practice, and took me about a year to do it perfectly.  I hope this helped.

  4. A jump serve is basically throwing the ball up in the air and taking a few steps, jumping in the air and serving it over. This website may help.

  5. A good way is to step with your left foot, toss, then do left right steps and jump. You have to make sure it flows and you can't just step... toss...left...right...jump...hit. It's more like you hitting approach but you are tossing the ball for yourself. You don't need to toss super high, just about a foot above your head. It takes a lot of practice so just keep trying and eventually get it. Good Luck!
