Question:

Jumper settings for old Compaq M/B to accept AMD...

Hi all
I am attempting the above but have no reference with which to set the jumpers to do so. I am more worried about the core voltage than the speed settings but would prefer correct settings for all.
I'm removing a Cyrix MII 333Mhz processor with is set to operate at 249MHz or 83MHz Bus speed with 3 x Clock multiplier (I assume) but operating at 2.9V Core Voltage

The M/B is in an old Presario Desktop 2282 and the labelling on the board is:
PCA P/N : 387432 - 001
PCB P/N : 01090 - 001
SPARE P/N : 387610 - 001

And the three jumpers as as follows:
J31
3 Banks of 3 jumpers with pin 1 assignment markings and columns labelled CLK0 CLK1 CLK2. The following is an approximation using '===' as jumpers and 'o' for open posts. ALso '|' is PIN 1 assignment.

J31
=== o | CLK0
=== o | CLK1
o === | CLK2

Second jumper J32 is again 3 banks of 3, however the row labels are FREQ0 FREQ1 FREQ2. Once again the following is an approximation with the same usage as above:

J32
FREQ0 o === |
FREQ1 === o |
FREQ2 o o o |

The 3rd bank, J29 which I assume is for Core Voltage is 4 banks of 2 with the following closed for 2.9V

===
o o
o o
===

I can't find any references to this board so I was kinda hoping someone would know this information anyway.

Any help is appreciated as have been stuck for a number of weeks with someplaces not even registering that I have made an inquiry?

Thanks in advance.
