  1. She is kind of just standing up in her two point. She should bend through her waist and bend her elbows more. Also she should stay with the horse as it jumps and not get out of her two point until they are on the ground.

  2. well first she should definitely use more leg especially around the turns because her horse seems to want to trot there. also she should try counting strides because it seemed like the first two jumps her horse was adding a "half stride". along with that, have her bring in her elbows when going into jumping position over the fences. other than that good ride!

  3. Move with the horse more and put your hands higher up on the horses neck. Relax and pull the horses head up more too.

    >Good Luck!

    > You look good though!

  4. OK. she needs to put her butt in the saddle #1 but just don't rush it and also try to canter the coarse it will go much smoother...very cute pony

  5. I agree with the first poster as well but I think if she released more and waited for the horse to come to her it would be better and If she sits in the saddle, make sure she doesnt drive with her seat- hope it helps :)

  6. I agree with the first poster, but would also like to add that she needs to ride less passively. Currently the horse is getting into the bottom of the jumps (ie not taking off far enough away) as her weight is too far forwards and her hands are just sat on the horse's neck. The horse needs to be picked up off the forehand (part of this due to the rider leaning forwards) and balanced better, particularly in corners, and transitions need to be better prepared. On the whole though, she didn't interfere with the horse and in my opinion; under-riding is better than over-riding. Your friend is still a novice, but she is doing well. With more time and practice these rounds will get a lot better. I know my post sounds like nothing but critism but I hope she finds it constructive. Your friend is a good novice rider, who, with more instruction etc. will get better. =]
