  1. I don't know what you're talking about.  The only thing I can think of is pictures of snowboarders and skiers up in the air doing cool flips and stuff.  Those are all real.  Here are a few ideas:

    1.  Get your camera close down to the ground so it's pointing up.  This will make it more obvious that the person is up and off the ground.

    2.  Like someone said, use a high shutter speed.

    3.  Try it both with the sun behind you, or with the subject blocking the sun.

    4.  Try using a flash.

  2. I do anything to get a good photo.

I've jumped in the air thousands of times to get a nice shot of something.

Unless, of course, you mean they are the ones in the photos jumping, you cannot replicate that without jumping.

  3. Hate to tell you, but 99% of the time, they really ARE jumping. Here's three problems that might have led you to not want to jump in the pictures.

    1) This is the most obvious case: Your lazy, as am I, but a good photo, especially jumping photos, is definately worth it, assuming the quality of the camera isn't good enough.

    2) Your pictures are too blurry. This indicates your shutter speed is low. To fix this requires speeding up the shutter speed. I use my Sony DSC-V3 Cyber Shot and crank up the ISO on Shutter Priority. Using flash is also a definate helper in this case.

    3) The pictures have been photoshopped. In this case, the only way you can reenact the photo is to basically just copy and paste the object (whoever is jumping) on to the background you want.

I'm not sure what you mean by you know they really aren't jumping. Maybe your seeing something unreal and in that case that would be photoshop for you. If you still have questions or this hasn't helped you, just email the photos to me (thecrzyazn@yahoo) and I'll gladly help you out.
