Jumping into deep water...?

How can i over come my fear of jumping into deeper water in a pool? My problem is that i dont know how to get back up to the surface and that ill start panicking not know when ill be on the surface? also that ill start panicking is water gets into my nose. How do i keep floating at the surface?

  1. don't jump into deep water, try easing yourself in and maybe holding the edge until you feel comfortable enough to let yourself go. then as you do that you might feel better jumping in.


  2. dont trip i you can swim in 3 feet of water than ou can swim in 300 feet of water

  3. try slowly going from the shallow end step by step to the deeper water,,,,get the feel of it,,,,try puting your head under water and exhale out your nose,,the shallow end is the same under water as the deep end except for the pressure.to float----take a big breath and hold it --try to float----i cant float very well cause im skinny---but i scuba dive---and love the water,,,,,,once you get past a few thing you will love it too---good luck

  4. wut i do is hold my nose jump in the water dont flap your arms just be like a bird n float bac up to the top if your scared try it n a small pool

  5. Go find a swimming coach. Or try to relax everytime.
