So I go cliff jumping alot during the summer and since its practically summer now me and my friends were going to pretty soon. Whenever we jump we always take off our life jackets and throw them in the water, I dont really know why tho. I was thinking maybe it hurt when you hit the water with a lifejacket on? the cliffs are about 25-30 ft or so...

  1. it might but I don't think it will. why don't you give it a go? I'm sure you won't die doing that :D

  2. why don't you or your n.o.k let me know how it worked out....But seriously I don't think that on or off is really going to make a big difference when it comes to getting hurt. It's all down to how you hit the water, you gotta know that it can be like concrete

  3. I think it odd that for a potential "life-or-death," or of a possibility of personal injury, someone would answer with "it MIGHT, but I don't THINK it will."

In other words, you are advised to "try it and let us know if you survive."
