  1. The temperature in Quito and in the small towns around the city average between Low 50º F and High 68ºF. In June the weather is  mostly dry, and it is supposed to be summer. Although it may be sunny in the morning, I would suggest her to carry a jacket or a light coat, because around 5 or 6pm it starts to get cold. I would also suggest to check www.weather.com before packing her clothes. The type of clothes she should bring other than her business attires, are casual, nothing too heavy nor too light.

As in everyplace she has to be careful and not be walking alone at night. I am not trying to scare you nor her, but it is always wise to be cautious when traveling to another country.

  2. Temperature in Ecuador varies depending of altitude from sea level, since Quito is located on the Andes traveling from town to town means you need lighter clothing as well as warm clothes. Depending on the type of business, the most common would be business casual, once again it depends!!! taxis are cheap, dollar is the monetary unit, food is cheap, great colonial architecture. have fun!
