  1. How about green streamers like vines and maybe little blow up trees you can get at the dollar store.

  2. blow up palm trees (i see those a lot)

    a slip and slide

    monkey and elephant baloons

animal themed birthday hats and cake

    :)

  3. Just read an article about a "SLIP AND SLIDE"  water party that had lots of ideas for water actvities and party favors. They used sand pails and filled them with the lunches for the kids.. you could decorate them with jungle animal stickers and write all their names on them.  You could also make the little tikes t-shirts with monkeys and giraffes on them. You do them yourself using iron on inkjet transfer paper that you can buy at any craft store. You use free clip art from the net.. and print it on these sheets.. cut out the picture, iron on the shirt.. how cute would they be for the babies!! for decorations you can find lots of jungle theme ideas at party stores or on line.

for the games and favors.. check out this site.

www.celebrationideasonline.com.. under the family fun button.. you click on the article about a party for energetic tots.. lots of great ideas there. good luck

  4. You can get some stuffed animals, like beanie babies and scatter them around the party area, especially if he has any of his own.  If not you can buy some small ones, check the party stores. You can put some velcro on their hands or just prop them around the areas around the party, so it looks like they're hanging around the party.

For water, I would stick with the pool and tunnel.  At that age you don't want them running through sprinkles or slip and slides, it's too dangerous for them.  I would be very careful about that they can slip too easily and get hurt.  They will have much more fun in what you already have set up for them.

For decorations you can get balloons in the colors of brown, green, and yellow.  Same with streamers.

You can go to orientaltrading.com and they have TONS of things in that theme and they are much LESS than even the dollar stores are!  Your money goes a LOT further there and you can get LOTS for your money.  You can get the inflatable palm trees, and maybe even monkees and other animals. I would definitely check them out.  They are more reasonable then the dollar store and very reliable!

I hope some of these ideas help and that your son has a great party and a very Happy Birthday!

  5. what a cute idea! Whenever I want party ideas I go to Familyfun.com. Here's their jungle themed pages:

  6. My daughter had a jungle theme for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday:)  She got a cupcake cake from Kroger (cupcakes pushed together and frosted as one cake on top) - she had a gorilla face with a bow & lipstick, and a zebra head.   She had boxes of animal crackers and a Curious George coloring book for favors ($1 at Target)  .....  Dollar Tree had stuffed monkeys with long arms & legs with velcro, so they could hang around your neck; and you could hang these from things on your patio - maybe with some artificial vines around the posts outside .....

  7. Umbungo Juice, Chocolate animal biscuits, Banana chips.

Decorate with stuffed toys like monkeys and have coconuts, bananas and pineapples on the patio.
