Jungles in Peru?

I've been offered to go to places like Iqitos and Manu, which is better?

  1. Iquitos (and not Iqitos) is in the Northeast region in Peru. The Amazon jungle is great over there and there are lots of towns you can visit while in Iquitos. However, to me the best jungle is Manu as it is a "virgin" jungle in the sense that there are no big towns surrounding it, it is a more ecological friendly jungle and a more diverse jungle with more exotic flora and fauna. Manu is on the south east region of Peru, you have to fly to Madre de Dios first and then do part of the journey on boat. I would chose Manu if I were you but that's my personal choice. Iquitos is a very busy town and I dont like that too much.
