Junior, West End Rocker, and Harry The Viking to compete in the Coral Scottish Grand National Handicap Chase at Ayr
Junior, son of Singspiel, out of mare For More, stumbled in the Grade 3 John Smith's Grand National Chase (Handicap) at Aintree on 14th April, 2012, where he was mounted by jockey, Tom Scudamore.
This has not stopped the nine-year-old gelding from competing in the Grade 3 Coral Scottish Grand National Handicap Chase at Ayr on 21st April, 2012.
Trained by David Pipe, for owners, Middleham Park Racing LI, the gelding finished as a runner-up in the Download William Hill From The App-Store Grimthorpe Chase at Doncaster on 3rd March, 2012.
West End Rocker, son Grand Plaisir, out of Slyguff Lord, is in the line-up for this race. He also stumbled at the same fence as, Junior, at the Grand National but is fit enough to compete in this event.
Trained by Alan King, the ten-year-old gelding triumphed in the Betfred Becher Handicap Chase (Listed Race) at Aintree on 3rd December, 2011. Ridden by jockey, Wayne Hutchinson, he defeated, Niche Market, by a massive margin
of 22 lengths.
Any Currency, trained by Martin Keighley, for owner, Cash Is King, might compete in this race. He was scratched from the Grand National at Aintree, but might compete in the Scottish equivalent.

Keighley stated to the press that:
"He's in great form and he'll love the trip. He was the first reserve for Aintree but obviously this is not a bad consolation. He definitely has a live each-way chance."
The Paul Nicholls trained, Harry The Viking, will race in this event and his victory will bring glory to the champion trainer, who also won the John Smith’s Grand National Chase recently.

The son of Sir Harry Lewis, out of mare Viking Flame, who is owned by   Sir A. Ferguson, G. Mason, R. Wood and P. Done has a terrific racing career. In his six starts, he landed four victories and finished twice as a runner-up.
The Paul Nicholls trained eleven year old gelding, Neptune Collonges, aced the Grade 3 John Smith's Grand National Chase. He was the mount for Daryl Jacob, as the pair crossed the wire a nose before the Jonjo O’ Neill trained, Sunnyhillboy.
This prestigious event will feature some of the best runners and will create a buzz in the market.
