Junior Hockey Players?!?!?

Junior Hockey is something I want to look into for after high school, but my parents and I don't quite understand how the educational side of it works. I noticed that on the websites of most junior hockey leagues, they have educational requirements. But I still don't understand if you go to school after junior hockey, or during, or whatever. I was wondering if someone could explain to me how that all works. Thanks a lot!!!

  1. Ok here it goes, if you plan on going to college and are out of high school, most guys go part time during the year and take some courses in the summer or spring. If you want to play for a college scholarship somewhere you can only take a certain amount of credits for a school to even look at you (well most D1 AND D3 varsity organizations). The best thing to do is to talk to a team advisor for the team you're interested in and they will explain everything to you, this is because its different for all schools and teams.
