Junk/ Bottles/Recycle?

Hello, I was wondering if there are companies that by junk/recyclabe items, like my basement is filled with empty water bottles and stuff and i want to sell them. Is that possible

  2. go to www.earth911.org to find a local recycle center, there will be contact info so you can see which items they will pay for.  

  3. Highly unlikely anyone will buy it; more likely you will need to pay someone to take it away. The best you can hope for is to get rid of the stuff without cost to you.  If your town has a recycling depot or collects recyclable at curbside, take them to the depot or put them out.

    My town has a "goods exchange" weekend two or three times a year during which you can put goods out on the curb and anyone who wants it can take away for free.  Check if your town has a similar program.

    Another option is "Freecycle".  Useful goods can be posted and people who want them will take them away for free.  But no selling is allowed.  Link to freecycle below.

  4. Yuk!  Clean out your basement!  I think you'll find companies only buy the plastic after it's been through the process at the recycling centre and then squished into a nice neat transportable cube.  Just take it all to the recycling centre at you local dump.
