Jupiter 's storm systems?

i read .. Jupiter is so hot from formation

it is trying to get rid of it's heat .

so my Q is ..

since it's the biggest spot .. is the big red spot the hottest part of Jupiter ?

  1. The Great Red Spot is an atmospheric storm (sort of like a hurricane here on earth).  

    There are many other spots on Jupiter, including the Red Spot Jr. and the Small White Spot, and they're also atmospheric storms.    

    The color we see is a result of chemical reactions occuring in the atmosphere.  

    Jupiter's core (the center of the planet) is hot, about 43,000 degrees F.  

    Jupiter's upper atmosphere (where the spots are) is cold, about -193 degrees F.


  2. no its not the hottest part of jupiter. its actually fairly cold there compared to the rest of jupiter.
